Holt Community Education is offering preschool classes for four- and five-year-olds during the school year. The program operates for 2.5 hours per day. The four-five year old preschool program features readiness activities designed to prepare children for kindergarten (children must be potty-trained and four years old on or before December 1, 2010 in order to be enrolled in this program).  The environment is warm, secure, and accepting. Youngsters are challenged to explore the world around them, to express themselves artistically and verbally, and to interact with others. Field trips, special guests, and a wide variety of activities make the preschool experience both fun and educational for the young child.
