Holt Community Education is offering preschool classes for five-year-olds during the school year. The program operates for 3 hours per day, five days per week. This five-year-old preschool program has a comprehensive curriculum that meets the needs of the five-year-old child at a pace that has been adapted to best suit their abilities.  As children acquire skills, they advance at their own individual pace to the next level.  For those children that need it, this program allows a balanced transition into kindergarten, allowing more time to experience the joy of play-based learning, giving them the best of both worlds.  At the same time, these children begin to experience success with learning.  This success helps to build the positive relationship that is needed with education for the future years to come.  Current information pertaining to our preschool program is available in the Ram Quarterly, which may be viewed on the Holt Public Schools web site at www.hpsk12.net.
